DailyNest was built by a working parent who was tired of missing permission slips, picture days, and early dismissals buried in an overflowing inbox. The product was born from a real need: one parent's frustration turned into a tool that helps families stay on top of everything.
Yes. DailyNest scans your email to find kid-related messages, extracts the important details (dates, events, action items), and then discards the email content. We never store the body of your emails. Your OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest, and we only access the minimum data needed to generate your digest.
We store your account information (name, email, digest preferences) and the extracted items from your emails (event titles, dates, action items). We do not store full email content. Email data is processed by AI to extract structured information, then the raw content is discarded. We never sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
Yes. You can pause or delete your account from the Settings page at any time. You can also revoke DailyNest's access to your Google account directly from your Google Account settings. When you revoke access, we can no longer read your email or add events to your calendar.
DailyNest needs to read your Gmail to find school newsletters, activity updates, medical appointments, and other kid-related emails. We need send access to deliver your daily digest to your inbox. We need Calendar access so you can add events with one click. These are the only things we use these permissions for.
Currently DailyNest only works with Gmail (Google Workspace accounts included). We plan to add support for other email providers in the future.
DailyNest handles this automatically. Our AI detects your children's names, schools, and activities from your email content. Your digest is organized by child, so you can see each kid's events, to-dos, and schedule changes grouped together.
Yes. During setup (or anytime in Settings), you can add additional recipients. Your co-parent, a caregiver, or a grandparent can all receive the same daily digest. Everyone stays on the same page.
DailyNest detects emails from schools, sports teams, dance studios, medical offices, tutoring services, camps, PTA/PTO organizations, and more. It recognizes platforms like ParentSquare, ClassDojo, Remind, Brightwheel, TeamSnap, and dozens of others. It also catches direct emails from teachers and activity providers.
Every item in your digest has a "View source email" link so you can verify the original. If something is wrong, each item also has a "Report issue" link. You can also add specific senders to watch from your Settings page to make sure nothing slips through.
Yes, we collect payment info upfront, but you won't be charged until your 14-day trial ends. You can cancel anytime before then from your Settings page and you'll never be charged.
You choose. During setup, you pick the time that works best for you. Most parents set it for 7am (before the school run) or 7pm (after bedtime). You can change it anytime from your Settings page.
